Objectives:

• The students will be able to identify articles of clothing.
• The students will be able to interpret information from on-line department stores in Spain and Panama.
• The students will be able to access a site to convert currency from pesetas to dollars.

Activity instructions:

• Review articles of clothing, sizes and colors. Discuss the currency used in Spain and compare to currency used in the United States.
• Have students complete worksheets using appropriate web sites.
• Have students give an oral presentation on the articles of clothing chosen.
• Have a class discussion on which articles of clothing were chosen more than others. Graph responses.

Assessment: Students will be graded on the accuracy of completing the worksheet and, using a rubric, on their oral presentation to the class.
