Assessment: Activity will be evaluated through the completeness achieved by the students. Will the students be able to answer all the questions about a city and will they be able to find as many cities as time permits. Not only will achievement be seen in each individual city, but also if the students express any further interest in continuing to gather the information. For example, if enough time was given to visit only 2 cities, will the students want to visit more cities on their time, or to visit the same cities on ensuing days (or weeks) to see differences from their own situation.

For the following Intenet activity you will need to go to www.altavista.com or tiempo.weather.com

1. Change to the language you are studying (Spanish) if you are using altavista; if you choose weather.com, you can choose a city by typing its name in the box "ingrese una ciudad" on the left side of the screen.
2. Find the temperature and weather conditions (6 are given) for 6 Spanish-speaking cities: 2 from Spain, 2 from Mexico, and 2 from South America – for today. As you view each city answer the following questions in Spanish.
